A Witch
Not a star shined
That dreary night
The men came marching
Right up to the door
They awoke her from a night mare
So she could start another
Her fiance dragged her outside
The torches casted eiry shadows
On Angelicas face
Three classmates stood
With crosses around their necks
Chanted prayers
Angelica stood in exhausted confusion
Not knowing why she was awakened
Under their peircing eyes
That radiated with fear
She turned around
Looking at each face
The mayor stepped forward
He held an old scroll
Slowly & causiously he opened it
Read the charges against her
No one looked at her
As she was accused of witchcraft
No one but the three girls
Who smiled with pride
The mayor tried to comfort her
As her lead her to a cell
She'd get a trial
Her innocne would be shown
This was just a fomality her assured
With those words
She kept her sanity
Up to the trial
The Prosucution
Had only three witnesses
Her classmates were the accusers
The courtroom all gasped
As a story of cursed enimies
Was told by the first
Women & men alike cried
As the second spoke
Of animal sacrifices
The third drove naseau
To Everyone
As she recalled
How Anglica had killed her lil sis
As a virgin sacrifice
Everyone knew it was merely fiction
But when the defense called for witnesses
No one would stand
She cried & looked ot her friends
She was carried back
All she could remeber doing to those three
Was refusing to help them cheat
For a last sunset
All night she prayed
She met the dawn
And her last sunrise
At the stake
The sun quickly hid behind clouds
She stood up straight as the bound her
She recied sweet poetry
As the ropes held her hands
Her fiance asked for a confession
She kept reciting Psalms
Then the screams came
The fire engulfed her
Only leaving her ashes
Angelica was just a victim
Of teenage revenge
In a small village
Called Salem

Night Cloak
The dark cloak of night
Followed her every step
The crimson in the night
Was her life force
She hated her existance
But it was her only option
Other than that of her victims
The offer had seemed so glamiors
The chance at immortality
She dispised death
Accepted destiny from a pale man
Now she causes what she despises
The hunger is a symptom
Of the addictive hunger
Be warned
NOthing comes without a price
This dispisement of life
She must pay
Till the end of the world
