For five years
I have worked to develop programs to assist youth whomDuring the first two years, I searched for His message as to my Works. From
Christian radio, to apprentice programs, a youth center and thousands of
dollars and hours spent in discovery.
I went door to door to Churches throughout Atlanta, journeyed to far off
spots in quest of advisement, in search of Elders. I wanted to KNOW WHAT GOD
HAD IN MIND!!
Well, needless to say, my search resulted in discovering just how set apart
this Christian Church in America truly is!! The answers only delivered more
questions.
Lost was I! I began to seek new answers to old questions, again, and before
I knew it, I was relying on those whom profess their knowledge while preaching what
is not HIS word!
Well, I prayed on it and soon I was to discover that HIS word was simple and
to the point! One needed not anyone but HIM to guide the events! You see,
unless you truly knew me before my joining His standard, you could not
comprehend!
Most folks could not even think of the life I was born into and persevered
against! Nor the sacrifices that were required of me, my family.(not that I
am complaining nor making anything of it other than informing!). I even dropped
EVERY friend I had known do to their old sentiments! Yes, just think for a
second. Here I am, a well known guy, with LOTS of Green, many connections,
contacts, friends, crew, living high on the hog! And "Doing Great"! No
drugged out business guy coming to terms. No LOST THE DOUGH guy, and now I
FOUND HIM (not that others have not went through the others for real) No
"I'm tired and I Wanna give Up!". And, suddenly, I am LEAVING ALL IN QUEST
OF HIM!.
JUST A SIMPLE walk into my main business, w/TV program, hundreds of
thousands in cash and gold and diamonds, an 11000 sq. ft buz, my own 6000
sq. ft gym, and and and, and, while a prepaid $50,000 renovation to the
sales floor was going on and GOD STRUCK ME DOWN!!
Blew EVERY BODIES MIND!!!!!!! (except my wife!! imagine, just how powerful
HE is!)
Well, It would take three pages to inform you how I KNEW I was to begin this
LAST journey! But, allow me a moment,
I do not say I KNOW IT ALL, I do not say I GOT THE ANSWERS! I do not say, IT
GOTTA BE DONE THIS WAY! I learn each and every day . . . most from the
MOUTHS OF BABES!!
One thing I DID KNOW!! Most of you have not read my book. And, there are
those whom have read it and were abhorred by its contents, its struggles, its
REALITY!! And, when one reads it and know it is true and only 10% of my
life, one can vividly see and understand what GOD had in mind!!
I have been there in the trenches, know of HIS blessings . . . and the other side!!
Dark Deep And Snatching!!
I have been successful in business, ran many concerns, mastered many trades and
teachings, lived with every persuasion of His own! Therefor, I struggle each
day to deliver what I can of my experiences, of my own tribulations. AND I
do so, without requirements of income, glory nor worldly goods!!
I drive a 1976 Honda, own a 1987 automobile, live in a 1967 mobile home,
spend 20 hours a day delivering information and offering assistance to
others. I HAVE NOT TAKEN A DIME FROM THIS ENDEAVOR
NOR HAVE I RECEIVED ANY FUNDING FOR MY FAMILY IN 4 years!!
Yet it is He whom provided thousands to assist others!
Am I bragging?? NO. Am I complaining? NO! Am I asking sympathy? Heck NO!! I
LOVE IT!!
Why this long letter??
In 41/2 years, we, my family and I, have invested every FREE DOLLAR into
assisting youth! We have not cared about how many books we sold, where the
money would come from, did not seek donations, lowered our standard of
living 1000000000 percent. sold our penthouse, automobiles, earthly
attachments, moved a 1967 mobile home onto 10 acres of property, repaired
and rebuilt it, bought a second hand car and rebuilt it, my wife got a job!!
(she had always worked in our concerns) and I went upon the roads preaching
and helping and uplifting.
AND I have never been more happy nor content!!
Now, this does not mean that life became easy, it became HARD!! I discovered
just how many Preachers, Ministers, Reverends, and other so called
Deliverers of The Mighty Word Of GOD had left out the most important words
of GOD! How the WORD was twisted and the "picked and choose" method
of utilizing it to meet their needs, rather than the children's needs! Recall Mother
Theresa's life, she was of Jesus Spirit! A level not that one could compare!
And I could never be as she, nor am I trying, I am only seeking to provide a
resource base for the future for all whom may call upon us!
You see, I was asking for the Lord to open doors, to teach me what I did not
know!! AND HE DID!! YES, My brothers and sisters, HE ALLOWED me to
journey and spend and procure and try and preach and stumble, for 4 and 1/2 years
before He opened the DOOR!!
On Feb 28, 1998, I was awakened late at night and soon found myself sitting
at my computer. It was strange for me to be searching the net at 3AM for a
web page program (at that time I rarely spent an hour a week on the web. AND
Knew NOTHING!!) , but I searched. Well, within several days, God would open
all sorts of doors!
The fact became apparent. if I was to reach out to those without HIM and
help them, I would need a way of REACHING THEM, I would need interesting
WORDILY CONTENT to capture them and HIS CONTENT to deliver them,
I would need programs that would employ, teach, educate and motive them so
they would have the means to persist! I would need CREW of dedicated
young persons to Peer to other young people. I would need advisors and assistants!
Some of the Elders, most of the YOUTH! I would need an Association YOUNG
people could join and be a part of!!
Now, as this gift began to grow, I added and removed content, ideas,
settings, pages, layouts and PEOPLE as the site developed. When NEW Elders
and Youth and Advisors joined the CREW, they provided, EACH AND everyone of
them, ideas and thoughts to the YOA site.
Most I objected to, sometimes emphatically (remember, this HUMBLE THING is a
difficulty for one like myself!) yet, EVERYONE OF THOSE BITS OF ADVICE THAT
GOD WOULD LATER SAY " YO! ROCK! LISTEN!" I listened to!
When it was brought up by Ken that the Watchman was too political for the
site, I argued it, said that was the way it was, yet, within several weeks,
I would REMOVE it and its content, not because it was offensive, but because
GOD had, through Ken, delivered a message to me that it was not MY job to
inform of this information. My job was to use the training of my life to
help youth!
The list grows on!
You all must understand that my main goal is to make YOA the best place for
all peoples that I can. My main job is to MOTIVATE YOU ALL to strive for
your best! My job is to assist the YOUNG people of our concern in any way I
can! My job is to provide the medium, and the energy to allow YOU ALL to use
YOUR strengths and GIFTS!!
It is not glory nor fame I seek. Not money and respect. Not the image of one
dedicated o God, Family and Country. But, just a medium necessary to launch
the programs, to develop avenues that I may tell my "TALES!" To generate
enthusiasm and an understanding that difficulty goes hand in hand with
success! AND that GOD desires your success---but on his terms!!
Let us make YOA a place that all can journey to empty and leave full.

PS: you realize that to reach the Youth of the Nations, one must be prepared
to deliver many messages. One does not go to a public school and deliver
Matthew! One must uplift first. Allow GOD to Work HIS works and assist
those with out to FIND HIM themselves through the eventual fruition of OUR
works in him!!
So many preachers preach of how many SAVED!! Yet the many of
those very "SAVED" never ever FIND GOD--nor, do they become as HE!

do you have any programs or information on assistance with a 17 yr old male that has been diagnosed with conduct disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, cannabis abuse and depression? Recently he was placed in a facility for a three week period by a judge to "turn him around" and he was nearly beaten to death. He is home recovering from extensive surgery due to skull and nose fractures and we don't think that this has "cured" him. If you know of anything of anyone to contact please let us know. In addition we have already exhausted all resources such as money, psychiatrists, long term and short term facilities. He has even been in a Marine Institute program. The Churches in our area have been of no help even though he shows a genuine interest in attending and becoming part of a group. It seems that even though people will do mission projects and will support prison ministries, they do not want "those type people" as part of their congregation. What an eye opener.

YES!
that has been diagnosed with conduct disorder <<<<
The diagnosis of a behavior/conduct disorder usually means that the youth in question has either an anti authority complex, is anti social, or, in many cases, has repressed feelings of inadequacy and truly desires to belong, to fit in. Yet, most of those youth have not the knowledge "how" to fit in, or, have associated impairments that tend to reveal themselves in actions society deems unfavorable.
I, in fact, had been diagnosed with a character/conduct disorder which I carry to this day. Diagnosed as passive/aggressive--aggressive, chronic and severe, it would take a literal journey (at the expense of all whom loved me) into the bowels of the darkness of this world to finally discover this truth was TRUTH. And, in my case, I would crawl back out by learning how to channel this behavior.
That is the cause of our mission: to rescue youth as you are witnessing!! Yes, if you read my story, you would KNOW that this is more than possible, it is FACT!!

I would like to know more??In my journey to this new life, I would bear the scars of sexual abuse, handicaps, loneliness, physical abuse, trauma (my father murdered--my mother dying at an early age), reform schools, and much, much more (at 11, I was placed in an adult ward for psychiatric evaluation for 3 months/shot heroin at 13!!).
It would assist me if the cause of the post traumatic stress was known??
cannabis abuse ---
Yes, such an "easy" way to "get away" from it all! In fact, the use of cannabis in Youth whom exhibit the behavior this 17 year old is exhibiting demonstrates that there is an addiction which is not solely a physical need to get "high" from drugs, but to both hide their insecurities and to become "cool"--better able to communicate (though, we are NOT talking talking, but showing. . .???) . The fact is, almost all youth whom have access to this deadly drug (YES!! For it will lead to further digression due to the mental state of this young man!) and are hurting inside, will eventually find themselves in the gutter of life.
The abuse of cannabis in young people of his nature is as severe as if it were cocaine , speed, or heroin! Where the latter potent narcotics "take over" the physical and mental nattier of its victims, the abuser of cannabis, whom displays the disorders you speak of, takes over the narcotic effects of the drug to suit their needs. And, in a young man such as you speak of, this will lead to a mental state where he feels he is immune to the consequences of both his actions and any and all effected by the same!
An excuse syndrome develops in young people whom hide behind the haze of this terrible drug.

Depression is a DIRECT effect of all of the above. Just imagine WHAT goes on in his mind!! I realize you KNOW that the past "treatments" have further affected , effected and infected his thought process!
You see, the reason that I am gifted (Just informing you I BELIEVE!) with working with young people of this young man's nature, is that I HAVE BEEN THERE AND have succeeded in making my life a good one, a happy one--yet, I NEVER forget those days of anguish. Those days I could not tell others of MY feelings as they went about their business of making me "better"!!

Take a young man who feels he is cool, he is right, he is normal, combine them with serious handicaps caused through trauma, feelings of inadequacy--of which he is UNAWARE of (or feels that he is not effected by)-- place him in a detention center full of HARD CORE youth"for his own good, to show him what he will face--teach him a lesson" (WITHOUT THE LOVE, CAMARADERIE, and FRIENDSHIP OF A BUDDY!) and you get what he got!!
Now, the worse of this terrible situation is HE IS TRAUMATIZED EVEN MORE!! Yet he now must demonstrate his manliness, his courage, his need to overcome!1 And the cycle only gets worse!!

Do you believe that, after those of "superiority" (his thoughts not mine!) told him they were doing what they were doing to him for his own good, and he goes where they send him and he discovers himself half beat to death (OH!! How My Soul Cries out for this young man--YES!! I know!!) that he will believe anymore in the "system"???
You see, I am not talking down the efforts or outcome, nor the true belief of any of those whom HAVE TRIED to no avail. Whom have cried to no avail. Who have thought they were doing their best because their hands were tied, all steps tried! I am stating that the system is not prepared to deal with what it has created through movies, rampant glorification of drug use.
For every "commercial" against drugs, there are twenty-fold for the use and abuse of drugs, sex, abuse and violence in our society at large. Nothing new in what I am saying, nor am I rambling about fault nor high and mighty values or views!! Just FACTS!
There are millions wasted every day by our leaders. Yet, even when those of General Powel's stature begins a program purportedly designed to assist youth as this young man, NOTHING gets accomplished but great press!! Where are the programs that will build a strong society by intervening in the precious lives of youth such as you speak.
Please, if this young man is loved by you, and you care, listen to the Rock:
You are not alone!! Check this out--there are MILLIONS of young people whom will wind up COSTING society because society has gone along its journey to a prosperous 21st century leaving vagabonds in its wake!
BELIEVE that GOD is real, that HE has worked in the lives of the young and old alike in far WORSE circumstance then this young man's life!
I wish not to speak of my beliefs without you understanding that GOD is the also the LAST!! When all else fails, HE comes to us. When we say we believe, and say it when the road is rough, HE hears us just as if we said it when all was calm upon the seas!! BUT, allow me to assure you, I do not preach nor speak of a person finding God until that person is aware of their surroundings, of their problems -- and is ready to face the hard facts of restructuring and reconfiguring (with support) their whole OUTLOOKOF LIFE!!
PURPOSE must be defined. Fellowship must be reinforced!
The mere thought that one can deliver life changing response without HARD WORK does not know of HIM!! One does not heal nor change anyone or thing without the support of the clear and conscious thought process of the intended recipient of HIS gifts.
The bible reinforces this fact! When Jesus walked this earth, he healed, he cured, he performed the most amazing gifts in Christ! The Holy Spirit!! But, the miracles were delivered with the consent of the parties involved!
Miracles were not accomplished (it is an accomplishment rather than a thing done!) for mere demonstration of God’s will nor power, but for cause, reason and belief w/LOVE!
When the Centurion asked of his servant, Jesus healed him due to the Centurion’s belief that Jesus could DO IT!! Not that the Centurion believed in Christ!! And the servant was Blessed with this miracle at the Centurion’s behest! A gift! Each and every cure was a direct result of both belief and the ACTIONS of the Father! Yet the Father would receive belief by the actions of Faith and love!! Thereby creating believers! One does not BUY HIS grace (contrary to the prayer shawls and nick nacs and love offerings!) one RECEIVES His Grace! And, how do we receive HIS Grace?? By giving all away! Do I mean money or valuables?? NO!
To finally say to God that you are placing your situation IN HIS HANDS, It will become!! Are You Prepared To do so?? Are you prepared to allow GOD to intervene??

You see, I can help, I KNOW I CAN!! But, the fact is, I cannot come on to this young man with GOD!! Oh! No! I must EARN his respect, I must PROVE MY CARE AND LOVE by demonstrating how IMPORTANT HE IS!!
Yes, and you must be the one whom does the praying, because I KNOW that HE will do as YOU ask! And then , HE will multiply MY actions through HIS grace!
Enough of my sermon, because I would LOVE to assist you!@ For HIM . . .and he whom is but a child of HIM, adopted by the Lamb of Christ!

As I have stated above. You know, I have been a powerhouse in business (GOD, again, demonstrating --to me-- that this was so minor in HIS plans in my works in his name!!). And, in my career, many new business persons would ask me what I thought of such and such. I would always inform them of my views. I would say they should do this or that. And, as humans are, many would listen, and, because they were of financial stability -- just starting out-- they would forget my recommendations, and, soon find themselves knocking at my door--again! --but this time, they would be financially exhausted because they took not the advice and found themselves without resource to cure the once ills that became disease's of their concerns!
The moral, God is THE only one whom can provide both answer and cure, no matter the purse! HE will always provide.

"those type people'-- Yes, I am sad to confirm to you--seem not to fit the image of Christians Works. Unless, of course, they are FAR away from the flock! Now, do not get me wrong, I am not stating that there are no Christian Churches or Ministries performing these works, I am simply telling the truth when I say that most Churches feel that a person of the persuasion we are talking about (no discourse towards calling names or stating ill repute) will "infect" the others. It is also with sad heart to say, though I have received NUMEROUS letters, commendations, and TALK of the kind from the likes of Pat Robertson, Jan Crouch, The President and many. many other "prominent" leaders, none has stepped forth to assist, bolster nor deliver an opening door to individuals like myself. No glory, I am further saddened to STATE in this endeavor.
Yet, do to the FINE staff, associates, and others whom have assisted our cause, I am always discovering avenues to the Capitols of HIS works in we!
The first item of this agenda, if you are willing to see the results of our works, is to provide the basic facts of his history. Arrests, if any. Charges. Events. Background--as best as you can. His status w/the courts. Education. et al.
