Goals and Priorities
1)
LSYF/YOA Encourages and Provides the Motivation, Education,
and Stimulation of At-Risk Youth through Solid, Real, Genuine and Caring Programs that
provide resources and assistance with AFTER CARE. We believe Violence
Prevention is not a Family Problem, but a COMMUNITY agenda. LSYF/YOA utilizes various
methods of communication on local, national and international levels, provides training
and utilizes the Internet to not only reach youth, but provide the core education and
Hands On Involvement that is necessary in halting Violence, Abuse, Poverty and the failure
of the Education System to provide programs and resources to those youth whom are in need
of SPECIAL education and assistance.
2) LSYF/YOA has
developed a community based action plan providing both resource and programs that
are on the leading edge of Technology. With Country and Family values at the forefront,
LSYF/YOA delivers programs in a responsible manner with youth, teachers, family members
and various non-profit organizations in the vanguard. LSYF/YOA provides improvements,
staffing, training, parental involvement and commitment, and the curriculum to Uplift,
Educate and Provides the Tools, Means and Opportunity for violent and abuse prone Youth to
move into our Technology Based Society as LEADERS!
3) LSYF/YOA promotes
a cooperative united effort to eradicate Poverty, Abuse, Crime, Drugs and Violence by
facilitating ideas, programs, communications, discussions, and events wherein YOUTH
can share information and knowledge.
4) LSYF/YOA advocates
for legislation in the following areas:
More GENUINE, REAL PROGRAMS for YOUTH in
need.
EDUCATIONAL, MOTIVATIONAL and
PSYCHOLOGICAL programs instead of Extreme Punishment for crimes committed by Youth.
A PUSH to Educate, Teach, and Assist Youth
through REQUIRED Reading and Movie programs that provide historical content of Our Nation
and The World; with a Focus on The FACTS/CAUSE/REASON/RESULT Of Violence throughout
History.
Rather than encourage the establishment of
Parental Responsibility Laws, LSYF/YOA Promotes the return of the Rights Of Parents to
DISCIPLINE their children!
5) LSYF/YOA's 5 year
research and development of The Power Team
Brigade program has proven that getting OUT to our YOUTH and talking, one on one;
providing the TOOLS 24 HOURS a day for abuse and addiction prevention produces an ENDING
rather then a beginning by placing blame on our youth and their parents.
